The sun sinks beneath the earth
With the moon trailing behind.
Relying on it's soothing warmth,
and it's radiant golden shine.
A horizon of water colours
Worship a gentle rose
Melting away at a dusty land,
releasing anything that froze
There are tiny crystal droplets,
that coat a sea of grass. Reflections of the midnight sky,
That slowly drifted past
Like a breeze over the hills
Of the towering seasoned pines
Deep beneath is a fire
That seems to burn away the time
As if we're waiting for our words
To come out on their own
As if our connected gaze wasn't enough to show
What's lies within our souls
Under our porcelain frames
One a moon, one a sun
For each of us to claim
